The Story

Dr. Swati Popat Vats is President of the Podar Education Network and the Early Childhood Association (India), leading one of India’s most influential educational organisations with extensive preschool and early years initiatives. She has devoted over three decades to advancing early childhood education and child development advocacy. As a pioneer of the world’s first video-based parenting site Born Smart and a curriculum innovator, Dr. Vats has influenced both policy and practice in foundational learning. Her roles include leading teacher-training programmes and contributing to curriculum standards internationally. Dr. Vats is also a prolific author of books for children, parents, and teachers, addressing topics from pedagogy to child safety. She has received multiple recognitions for her leadership in early learning and continues to speak globally on education and parenting.
